Another bright spring day in our community garden.




Everyone weeded... and weeded.



Well, almost everyone... some contributed their smiles.



By 11 am, we were baked.



Before going home, we stopped to admire the beauty of our community.



I get Choked up

A wise person once said "To Plant a Garden, Is to believe in Tomorrow" I recon there is truth in that.

But maybe there is magic in the ground that only comes out in a garden? Sometimes it peeks out from under a leaf

Sometimes from behind one

There is always color, sometimes subtle

sometimes vivid

Well we seem to be off to a good start seems all the players are here and ready for work, bring on

ACG January 2012

Our 1st work day of 2012 went very well. We munched on bagels, cookies & coffee. We received and spread a load of Mango Mulch (thanks to Grab & Grow). We created a garden box for our new members, Stan & Carol. We planted Avocado and Gravenstein trees, pulled weeds, created a trellis for the grapes & moved the strawberries. Six days later our first good rain came. What timing!!!
