July at the ACG

Hello, ACG has taken on a whole new look this summer. I think members are planting better and smarter than last year. Tomatoes are not being watered as much, over-crowding is less frequent, our storage shed is built and flowers are coming up everywhere! Please enjoy these shots of the ACG flowers in July 2011...

It's June 25th and summer's finally here. We had a work day today. Members got to create their stepping stone with their garden bed number on it. Dave & John nearly completed the shed. Weeds got pulled around the compost bin and we started spreading our new pile of mulch around it. Our apples are looking good! Please enjoy today's photographs of our beautiful summer garden.

Spring 2011!

Hello fellow gardeners,

We had a good work day on Saturday, April 23. There we 20 of there (counting the kids...but they helped too - see pics). The trees are all blooming. The clutter is organized. The organic compost is just right. Seeds are planted and lettuces are ripe for the picking. Please enjoy the latest pictures!

Soggy ACG Work Day

First, a big thank you to all who came out (in the rain) to help with filling the beds, spreading the mulch, building beds, & bring the food. Sarah, your soup was delicious! Rebecca's apple cake

was awesome! Let's keep filling in the beds. We still have lots of soil and compost. Next comes the building of the tool shed. Looking forward to a great year!

ACG Work Day Feb 19th!

We're having a work day on the 19th. We will have new soil to top off the beds and fill the new ones. There's new wood chips to spread. We will be preparing the foundation for our new tool shed. Hope it's a dry day!
